About Nicole

Nicole Edwards is a highly skilled and respected Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience. She is well known in the Mid North Coast area for her integrity, ethical approach to practice, and commitment to her clients. Her long-standing presence in the field, coupled with her extensive expertise, ensures that she consistently provides quality care and effective support.
Nicole has been widely recognised for her significant contributions to the social work profession, earning several prestigious awards, including the Child Protection Week "Children's Champion". She has been a finalist in the NSW Health Innovations Awards in the category of "Supporting our Workforce," and a finalist in the NSW Justice Awards for the Law and Justice Foundation of New South Wales Pro Bono Partnership Award. Nicole co-authored Palliative Care Social Work Australia’s Palliative and End of Life Care Social Work Standards. Nicole’s work has been published nationally and internationally in journals and university textbooks, and she has been a featured speaker at state and national conferences.
